Being a hollow tube, the centre of an ear candle is simply a column of air rather than a solid mass. When lit at the top, the rising air column inside the candle begins to heat up. As the candle burns down, it continues to heat up the top of the rising air column of the centre of the candle. The rising air column creates a very mild suction action at the base, which helps loosen compacted earwax. This experience is a gentle, relaxing treatment for everyone, including children.

There are no known contraindications for Reiki which makes it safe to use alongside orthodox medical treatment.

Coco was born in Nepal where the health care system faces many challenges. She has always wanted to pursue a profession in health and wellness from a very young age. Coco’s family has always been involved in the health care system – her mum was an obstetrics and gynecologoy nurse and her grandmother a midwife, so they always encouraged her to look after her health.
Coco decided to study chiropractic at the Welsh Insitute of Chiropractic (WIOC) after a sports injury. A friend, who was a student chiropractor at the time, helped with her injury and inspired her to study chiropractic. After completing a Human Biology degree, Coco pursued her passion in chiropractic and hopes to inspire and help others on her journey.
Whilst at WIOC, Coco has done courses on dry needling and extremities adjusting and has a keen interest in learning more about how chiropractic can help with pregnancy and paediatrics patients.
Coco moved to the UK 11 years ago. Currently she is based in Bristol and loves the city. Prior to this, she lived in Nepal and then in India for 7 yrs. As a result Coco can speak three different languages: English, Nepali and Hindi.
When not studying or working in chiropractic, Coco loves dance and sports. She has been in a competitive cheerleading and dance team for the past 7 years and is also trained in the national dance of India , Bharat natyum. Coco practices yoga and meditation – she believes it is important to exercise your body and that movement helps to promote a healthier body and happier mind!
My future goals in chiropractic include learning more about different type of chiropractic skills and expanding my knowledge. I also want to help promote chiropractic and I believe it’s not just a profession but a way of life. Chiropractic found me when I needed it the most.
