Caroline Scott

Receptionist

Caroline has been with the Spinavita team since June 2015 and has seen many changes within the clinic’s progression over this period.

I enjoy working within the receptionist team at Spinavita. Meeting and greeting the patients and making sure they have a good experience each time while they are here. It is a varied role as I have different clinicians on each shift I work. Also I get to go shopping, as I am now in charge of ordering the supplies required for the clinic!

Let's learn more about Caroline

What does your day-to-day role entail?

Being friendly and welcoming with new and existing patients. Answering the phone and replying to emails. Making and changing appointments and taking payments from patients.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

Seeing patients health improve on their treatment plan.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not welcoming patients into the clinic?

I enjoy my other role on weekends as a Flight Instructor. I have now had 14 student’s pass their examinations and flight test to gain their Private Pilot’s License. You will always see me looking to the skies and checking the weather!

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

I prefer the summer evenings so I can chill in the garden, in the sunshine, maybe with a cocktail in hand. In the colder, darker evenings cosy up on the settee and be transported away with a good book.

What’s your go-to snack during the workday?

Chocolate biscuits generally. Although through Great British Bake Off season I sometimes make cake to bring in.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Be yourself and enjoy life.
