We’re excited to share some wonderful news with our Spinavita Community — Spinavita Chiropractic has been shortlisted for the Clinic of the Year Award at the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) Excellence Awards 2025! 🎉

This nomination is a huge honour, recognising not only the care we provide in the clinic but also the work we do in our wider community. It reflects the dedication of our entire team — from our clinicians to our clinical assistants — and our commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that truly makes a difference.

Spinavita Chiropractic, under the inspirational leadership of Anna Hawrot, successor to Professor Richard Brown, is a shining example of clinical excellence, professional contribution, and community impact. Anna has built a multidisciplinary team of outstanding chiropractors, sports and massage therapists who deliver evidence-based, compassionate care that changes lives. Every patient is welcomed with warmth, listened to as an individual, and supported on a journey of recovery, empowerment, and long-term wellbeing.

Spinavita’s influence extends far beyond the clinic walls. Associates Jess Davy and Jennifer Barr contribute nationally through the BCA Communications Committee, shaping the new BCA website and publishing Knowledge Hub articles that raise standards and share expertise. The clinic’s ethos of collaboration, leadership, and service is also evident in their commitment to advocacy: during Chiropractic Awareness Week, Spinavita creates impactful campaigns that inspire communities and shape promotional resources used by clinics nationwide. Last year, this ethos was tested in the most heartbreaking of ways with the sudden loss of a young team member, inspired to become a chiropractor. The resilience, compassion, and unity shown by the team in supporting one another while continuing to serve their patients and community speaks volumes about their shared values. Spinavita’s commitment to the wider Gloucester community is equally strong, from health education and charity initiatives to partnerships with local organisations.
