Ingredients
- Dates
- Peanut butter
- Dark chocolate and organic cocoa powder
- Sea Salt
Method
- Carefully cut the date open horizontally using a sharp knife and remove stone (repeat this to your required numbers of dates then put aside)
- Use a teaspoon level of peanut butter and scrape it into the date, filling the middle of date but not spilling out too much, leave to rest on a baking tray with grease proof paper.
- Break up the dark chocolate and add in a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder and place in a glass bowl.
- Place the glass bowl over a small saucepan with an inch of water in the bottom, use a low heat and stir chocolate as it melts
- When chocolate is melted remove from heat
- Use a spoon and cover each date in the chocolate liquid, be generous and make sure date is covered
- Sprinkle sea salt over top while chocolate is in liquid form so the salt embeds into the mixture
- Leave in a fridge for 24 hours (longer the better)
- Enjoy!
